never again will the fear diminish
from under the white oak/s shade.
inside which needles mend upon the comfort of thorns
whilst leaves sway threatening from reach.
chrysanthemums break the deepest of scars
left to drip on the water/s edge.
      amongst which--
crystallized petals shatter what sinks beneath.
continuous showers tear at the surface of peace,
              While butterflies soar among high.

Author's Comments

this is something i kindof developed off of something else. it/s a concept i/ve come up with from many different occasions. it/s not THE most original concept, other people have thought of it too, this is just my way of portraying it.
i/d like to see what you think that the implied and portrayed concept is. (in a comment, obviously) i worked pretty hard [with a little help from =bobthedinosaur] to make it clear enough to be understood.
on that note, i don/t hate it, and i hope you don/t either~

part of my inspiration: "cut down at the knees by a butterfly" [link] (in my handwriting, no less).

Beautifully written. Simply a great piece. Wonderful imagery used.
